About 15 centimetres (six inches) of snow fell overnight in downtown Prince George. Outlying areas at higher elevations may have gotten more.

Pine Pass reopens after avalanche

The Pine Pass on Highway 97 between Prince George and Chetwynd, which was closed by an avalanche on Sunday, has reopened. The avalanche covered the highway, about 70 kilometres south of Chetwynd, with as much as two metres of avalanche debris.
