Williams Lake Studio Theatre's presentation of Bill W. and Dr. Bob earned cast and crew top spot at the Central Interior zone theatre festival.
The group now goes to Theatre B.C.'s Mainstage competition in Kamloops from July 2 to 10.
Bill W. and Dr. Bob took best production; best director, Tashja Janzen; best actress, Katalin Szauer; best actors, Jay Goddard and Ron Malmas; best supporting actor, Mike Rawluk; best costume design, Maggie Pugh and Norma Weatherby; best set design, Curt Sprickerhoff and Sheryl-Lynn Lewis; and best backstage coordination.
Best supporting actress went to Allison Haley for The Death of Me, presented by Serious Moonlight productions.
Stephen Drover, artistic director of The Pound of Flesh Theatre Company in Vancouver, was the adjudicator for the event.
Adjudicator choice award, the Peter Brook Award for creating a special space went to Love Letters by Serious Moonlight Productions.
