Herb Sorer, local resident, won the Prince George Hospice 50/50 lottery drawn Thursday night. Sorer won $69,510 with proceeds going to the grief support programs offered by the hospice society.

Sorer won $69,510 with proceeds going to the grief support programs offered by the hospice society.

The draw for the grand prize, the Hopsice Dream Home takes palce at 8 p.m. Thursday Nov. 14, with ticket sales ending at 5 p.m. that night Tickets are $100 each. Total to be sold is 8,999, with more than 2,000 tickets to e sold. Proceeds from the Dream Home Lottery will help support three of ten beds at Rotary Hospice House.

The dream home is built Rise Construction, located at 7693 Stillwater Crescent, and is a total of 1,936 square feet. The show home is open daily from 11 a.m. t o 7 p.m.
