  • 13 - D.O.B Contracting Gladiators
  • 11 - Queensway Auto World Red Sox

The chance to go undefeated was defeated by the league’s last-place team.

The Red Sox’ first loss of the year came at the hands of the Gladiators, who rallied in the final frame to score four runs and take a two-run lead with three outs to go.

Matt Knight got as far as third base in the bottom half of the seventh, but no one could help him out as the following two batters got popped out and a 6-4 fielder’s choice play ended the contest.

Gladiators’ offense got seven hits, including a two-run shot over the left field wall for Catcher Chris Allard in the fourth inning,

Friday, July 12

  • 0 - Inland Control and Services Tigers

The O’s earned some redemption after they were shut out earlier in the week, getting 10 hits at the dish and only one error on defense all night long.

Three of their four runs came in the final inning, thanks to a two-run RBI single from Centerfielder Dave Bandurak.
