Prince George RCMP were called to a weapons complaint at Prince George Secondary School shortly after 10:30 a.m. on Monday.
School administrators reported that several students said they’d been chased by a male from outside the school who may have had a weapon.
“When police arrived at the school, they quickly located the individuals identified by students as the suspects. The investigation revealed students had been taunting individuals who responded by yelling and acting erratically. There were no weapons located” RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Jennifer Cooper said. “Witnesses to the event stated they saw the individuals being taunted by students. Police officers are currently working with school staff to identify all those involved.”
The file remains under investigation.
