A new video highlights one of Prince George’s not-so-hidden gems, if definitely, the Central B.C. and Railway and Forestry Museum.
While passing through Prince George, Adam and Celine McLaughlin, along with their three sons, checked out the museum and documented it for their YouTube channel.
The McLaughlins are a full-time RV family and Adam and Celine are the online hosts to the RVers TV Show providing behind the scenes content, interviews, and a look in to their full-time family life on the road.
The RVers airs in the U.S. on Discovery and PBS, and CHEK TV in B.C.
It focuses on useful information and a true description of the RV lifestyle in an educational and entertaining way.
The McLaughlin’s made the stop at the Railway and Forestry Museum during a three-day stay in Prince George en route from Jasper to Vancouver.
“We spent a warm afternoon outside at the Central British Columbia Railway and Forestry Museum in Prince George. There are plenty of things to explore, from an original train station and station master's house to the inside of trains from days gone by - staff quarters, dining cars, engine cars, and of course, the caboose,” says the family, in the video description.
“We were mostly interested in the trains, and there were many pieces of antique equipment from the forestry industry, including a Beehive burner that used to be used for burning off unused scrap wood from the mill, large enough to walk inside.”
The McLaughlin’s have been full-time RVing since 2018, and have visited 31 states and travelled east to west across Canada.
