The Prince George RCMP have advised that Leslie Archibald Smith has been safely located and returned home.
Smith, 87, was reported missing after having been last seen Oct. 7 at 7 p.m. by his wife at their residence. He is 5'6"-5'7" tall, 165 lbs, has brown eyes, balding white hair and glasses. He was last seen wearing navy dress pants, a blue long sleeve dress shirt and a woven blue vest. Smith is also possibly wearing a ball cap.
Smith has a known heart condition, but has left his medication and inhaler at home. He is also quite hard of hearing and is not wearing his hearing aids.
Smith is believed to have driven his vehicle in search of his wife after she had left for a meeting, which is described to be out of character for Smith who is not fit to be operating a vehicle. He would be driving a gray, four-door 2002 Jeep Cherokee, with a B.C. Veteran licence plate 780 VAW.
Anyone with information on Smith's whereabouts is asked to contact the Prince George RCMP at 250-561-3300.
