The courts at Northern Sport Centre were put to good use this May long weekend as the UNBC Timberwolves held a May Long Weekend basketball camp.
The three day camp saw players broken into three groups with Grade 2-7 players in the morning followed by the Grade 8-10 players in the mid-afternoon, and finally the Grade 10-12 Elite players in the afternoon.
With COVID restrictions putting a stop to in-school sports, players were eager to continue to hone their skills in the gym and did so with the help of UNBC Timberwolves basketball players and coaches. Sunday afternoon's elite session was run by men's coach Todd Jordan with help from UNBC players Madison Landry, Tyrell Laing, and Vova Pluzhnikov.
