Three people have now been charged after a man showed up at University Hospital of Northern British Columbia earlier this month with extensive injuries.
Along with April Rose Charlie, 30, Jason Gordon Mease, 36, and Allan Troy Baker, 30, now also face charges of aggravated assault, assault causing bodily harm and assault with a weapon from an alleged Nov. 4 attack on a man. Police believe the assault occurred downtown and involved a blunt object.
Charlie was released last week on a promise to appear while Mease and Baker remained in custody as of Monday.
All three are known to police and Baker also faces 16 weapons and drug-related charges after police executed a search warrant on a 1200-block Alward Street home on Nov. 6.
RCMP said they located a prohibited and loaded modified shotgun, ammunition, as well as a quantity of cocaine during the search.
