Parents and children aged five to 12 who are dreading the holiday season due to a divorce or separation can discover new traditions and ways of celebrating during a seminar designed especially for them.

The one-evening seminar, which offers a separate Divorce Care For Kids program for children, is on from 6 to 8 p.m. Nov. 14 at Artspace, above Books and Company, at 1685 Third Avenue.

Fears of being alone, disappointment, finances, holiday depression and more will be discussed as well as ways and means to overcome, said Pastor Pamela Laycock of the Upper Room Church of the Nazarene which is sponsoring the event. Call 250-640-1141 to register yourself and your children.
