Another season will begin tomorrow for the Prince George Spruce Kings on home ice. And, if not having the arch-rival Chilliwack Chiefs wasn't enough for fans, pre-game festivities will ensure a great time is had by all.
A pre-game BBQ, which is hosted by the Kings in conjunction with Save on Foods will start at 5:30pm. Fans are encouraged to get to the Rolling Mix Concrete Arena for some food before the two teams battle on the ice.
Last season, of course, the Spruce Kings fell just short of winning the BCHL Fred Page Cup. With 13 returnees to a pretty veteran roster, the Kings have a good opportunity to achieve on ice success in the 2018-2019 campaign.
Spruce Kings Marketing Director Kyle Anderson says fans should arrive early to the rink at the ticket booth, as there is a new ticket scanner protocol at the front doors.Fans can purchase tickets Friday from 9am to 4pm and the box office and front doors will open at 6pm.
The puck will drop shortly after 7pm.
