Selen Alpay, Darrell Hubbell and Bob Redden have all joined the Spirit of the North Healthcare Foundation board of directors.
The three men were elected to two-year terms at the charitable organization's annual general meeting at the Coast Inn of the North on Oct. 29. They will replace outgoing board members Colin Kinsley, Diane Rogers and Judy Jackson.
Foundation president Darren Masse outlined four priorities the board will focus on as it decides what types of projects to support in the future: will it enhance care, will it ensure care can take place closer to home, will it help recruit and retain medical staff in the region and will it help build capacity.
According to financial statements, the charity had gross revenues of more than $2.5 million in its last fiscal year.
In the future, the foundation will hold its annual general meeting in June.
