It's coming down, Prince George.
Environment Canada is predicting up to 15 cm of snow today (Feb. 4) and has issued a snowfall warning as a result.
The alert took effect as of 7:30 a.m.
According to the agency, a band of snow is moving across northern B.C. this morning, which includes the city, the Pine Pass, the Stuart-Nechako and Bulkley Valley and Lakes District regions.
The snow is expected to ease off this afternoon, reducing to a 40 per cent chance of flurries and winds up to 50 km/h.
More snow could be on the ay after midnight tonight in the amount of 4 cm.
Commuters are being asked to slow down and drive to the changing road conditions.
