Two days after its initial warning had ended, another snowfall warning has been put in place for the Pine Pass.
The Highway 97 stretch north of Prince George is expected to get between 10 and 20 cm of snow as an intense low-pressure system will move from the central coast and into northern B.C.
The white stuff is expected to ease up by tomorrow morning (Feb. 1), according to Environment Canada.
Drivers are asked to adjust habits on the road as conditions can change instantly, especially in mountainous ranges.
So far, Drive B.C. is indicating slippery sections and compact snow between Tudyah Lake Provincial Park, just south of these Mackenzie Junction, and Highway 97/29 intersection in Chetwynd.
If you plan on driving westbound on Highway 16, a snowfall warning is also in place as the same conditions near the Pine Pass are predicted as well for the Bulkley Valley and Lakes District.
