Another weather record fell over the weekend.
The thermometer struck 29 C on Sunday, eclipsing the old standard for Sept. 15 of 28.5 C set in 1981.
The high on Saturday was just short of the record for Sept. 14 of 27.5 C, set in 1979.
Environment Canada is calling for weather this week that is more in line with the norm for this time of year, with highs ranging from 15 C to 19 C and chances of showers through Saturday.
