Rise and shine, Prince George!

Sun is out, but there's still a nip in the air

Environment Canada is calling for lots of sunshine before the clouds come home. (via Melonie Wood).

Friday may feel a bit happier today (April 3) in Prince George.

That's what Environment Canada is forecasting with mainly sunny skies all day long.

But keep the buns wrapped up as 20 km/h winds are set to blow north in the morning, dropping the temperature to -26 C with the chill.

Once we reach a potential high of -4 C, some clouds will roll in and the wind will decrease its speed to 15 km/h.

The overnight low will fall to -18 C.
