Looks like the rain will be held off to start the weekend in Prince George.

Environment Canada is reporting a clear sky for Saturday morning (April 6) and a high of 9 C by the afternoon, but winds will be blustering throughout the day.

The national agency says southerly winds could start at 20 km/h and gust up to 40.

It's the same forecast for the evening in terms of wind and the night sky will remain clear with a low of -2 C.

Winds will make it feel like -6 C overnight.
