The Chetwynd RCMP say they're investigating after receiving a report of a dog that was killed on Nov. 29 near Jackfish Road.
We can now confirm that the dog had been shot and look to the public for any information to help further this investigation
said Sgt. Wahnese Antonioni, NCO for Chetwynd RCMP.
The investigation is active and ongoing and the RCMP say believe it was an isolated incident, and do not believe it was targeted.
Anyone with information about the incident or have dash cam video are asked to contact the Chetwynd RCMP at 250-788- 9221.
