A Prince George man was sentenced Thursday to one year probation after he was found behind the wheel of a stolen vehicle earlier the same day.
Boyd Allison Mattess, 35, was arrested near the corner of Cowart Road and Highway 16, shortly after police noticed a vehicle matching one that was stolen from a home near the corner of Redwood Street and Strathcona Avenue early Wednesday morning.
Mattess was issued the term in provincial court on a count of possession of stolen property over $5,000.
