The public is invited take part in the P.G. Solidarity Walk for Ukraine happening Saturday at 2 p.m.
The walk will start at the L'heidli T'enneh Memorial Park Pavilion at 2 p.m.
“This walk will pay solemn deference to the unprovoked war in democratic Ukraine by Russia,” an email by the organizers said. “Through peaceful demonstration, the aim is to support and uplift Ukrainians far and wide and help draw attention to the severity of the conflict.”
The four-kilometre walk will end at the Yalenka Ukrainian Hall at 933 Patricia Blvd. Participants are encouraged to bring Ukrainian flags and wear yellow and blue.
