Prince George RCMP investigating shots fired near nature trail

Police are investigating a shooting along the Centennial Trail between Oak and Pine Street.

On Sunday, Nov. 25 at approximately 8:45 p.m., Prince George RCMP received multiple calls reporting shots fired in the area between the 2400 blocks of Oak Street and Victoria Street.

Multiple officers including a police dog team attended the area to investigate. They found an SKS type rifle near the pathway along the Centennial Trail between Oak and Pine Street.

No suspects were located in the area and no reports of injuries have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
