Prince George RCMP are investigating a break-and-enter that resulted in a stolen truck.

On Sunday night (April 26) around 11:20 p.m., Mounties responded to reports of a break-and-enter to a commercial property on 1800-block, 1 Ave.

The investigation led officers to believe that a grey Dodge 2500 pick-up had been stolen from the fenced compound.

Roughly four hours later, the vehicle was located in a parking lot on PG Pulpmill Road.

Police say there was significant damage to the front end of the truck, which has now been seized for forensic examination.

At this time, a suspect or suspects have not been identified.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Prince George RCMP at 250-561-3300, anonymously contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or go online to www.pgcrimestoppers.bc.ca.
