Prince George Mounties have arrested one of the city's prolific offenders and have also arrested an accomplice.

On Thursday morning (June 20), RCMP arrested two people who were believed to be associated with a stolen Ford F-150 pickup, according to a news release. The truck was reported stolen around 7 a.m. on June 19 from Wilson Crescent.

Cpl. Craig Douglass says the suspects were arrested on Vanier Drive shortly after 6 a.m., after trying to ride away on bikes.

Thirty-nine-year-old Dale Al West of Prince George has been charged by the B.C. Prosecution Service with possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000 and possession of break-in instruments.

West will remain in custody until Aug. 1, when he will attend court for the charges listed above as well as charges from five other investigations.

Twenty-seven-year-old Danielle Jean Rizmayer of Prince George has also been charged with possession of break-in instruments.

She has been released from custody with a promise to appear in court on July 17.
