A 31-year-old man has been charged for an incident at a Prince George hotel this week.
Around 2 p.m. on Tuesday (March 5), RCMP responded to reports of a man behaving in a ‘bizarre manner,’ which included running around the lobby of a hotel in the 2700 block, Recplace Dr. and attempting to punch one of the staff.
The Prince George resident was arrested when police arrived on scene, but he resisted as officers tried to put him in handcuffs, which led to a short confrontation.
After finally taking him into custody, he was transported to hospital as a precaution.
He appeared in court today (March 6) and is being charged with assault and resisting arrest.
