It was an early start for Prince George Fire Rescue this morning (Oct. 27)
At about 5:30 a.m. crews responded to a reported structure fire in the 400 block of Ogilvie Street. A total of 15 firefighters from three halls responded.
When crews arrived they found light smoke coming from the building and they quickly knocked down a small fire in the entrance of the two-story complex and ventilated smoke from all the suites.
Crews checked the suites and found all the occupants to be out of the residence. Once the building was cleared to be safe the scene was turned over to the RCMP and the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
Fire and smoke damage is estimated to be about $25,000 and there were no injuries to fire personal.
