A Spruceland-area shed fire last night (June 1) resulted in $10,000 worth of damages.

Fortunately, Prince George Fire Rescue says no one was injured from the blaze, which was extinguished shortly after crews arrived.

At 9:20 p.m., firefighters responded to the incident at 600-block Vedder Cres. and found a 10x14 ft. outbuilding fully engulfed.

There was nobody inside the shed and flames were put out as quickly as crews could.

An investigation is ongoing into the cause of the fire.
