Prince George Fire Rescue extinguishes Lombardy Mobile Home Fire

Four homes caught fire, but no one was injured

Everyone got out safely after Prince George Fire Rescue responded to an early morning blaze at Lombardy Mobile Home Park.

At about 6:20 a.m., 19 firefighters from four fire halls responded to the fire in the mobile home park at 2188 Norwood Street.

On arrival, crews found one trailer fully involved and the fire did spread to three other units, which received heavy damage.

It took crews approximately one hour to get the fire under control.

There were four occupants residing in the homes and all got out safely and there were no injuries to fire personnel.

The cause and fire damages are not known at this time.
