White Spot restaurants set a new record on Wednesday by raising $65,916 to help children and youth with special needs attend camp.
The B.C.-based restaurant chain donated $2 from the sale of each pirate pack - both the child and adult varieties - to Zajac Ranch for Children. White Spot patrons in B.C. and Alberta purchased 32,458 pirate packs to bring the total contribution from the restaurant over six years to more than $250,000.
White Spot week at the Zajac Ranch begins Monday.
