Who doesn't love being colourful?
You've probably heard of other colour runs and walks in other cities, but Prince George will have its own next month.
The Prince George Hospice Society will be hosting a five-kilometre walk on May 26 at UNBC in a celebration of life.
Individuals, families, and teams of friends and coworkers can all participate.
And don't worry, the colours thrown are safe.
All money raised will stay in the community and will support the care that is provided at the Hospice House.
A pre-event starts at 9:30 a.m. and the walk will start at 10 a.m.
Make sure to wear white so you can show off those colours!
If you're one of the first 250 people to sign up, you'll get some cool sunglasses.
Save-On-Foods will also be hosting a barbecue by donation (expect hot dogs, hamburgers, and drinks).
Fees are as follows:
- Individual - $25 (plus $2.54 fee)
- Family - $75 (plus $5.59 fee)
- Team of 10 - $250 (plus $16.23 fee)
- You can also donate even if you can't attend
