Nukko Lake elementary school students have raised $500 towards the Nechako Rotary Club's Have a Heart for Haiti ShelterBox campaign.
In appreciation they were invited to the display at Pine Centre Mall on Friday to see a video on the program and check out the big tent and the items that are included at the display.
So far, $17,000 has been raised in Prince George -- a $14,000 jump from last week -- and $90,000 in northern B.C., from 100 Mile House to Prince Rupert -- a $40,000 jump from last week.
