A fire earlier today (April 25) left a hefty price tag in damages to a home in the Hart.

Prince George firefighters say about $350,000 is the estimate after extinguishing the structure blaze on 3900-block, Brentwood Ct.

Crews say there were no injuries from the incident, which is now under investigation, as the residents were safely outside the home when they arrived around 4 p.m.

The residence was engulfed in flames and heavy smoke from the front and side.

“Crews started out doing an interior attack but had to then turn it into a defensive attack when it became unsafe when the fire burnt through the interior floor,” reads a Prince George Fire Rescue release.

Firefighters stayed to douse all the hot spots.

In total, 16 crew members attended the scene from three different halls.
