An outbuilding fire in Prince George early this morning (April 16) is under investigation by Mounties.

Fortunately, local fire rescue crews say there were no injuries from the incident in 1300-block, Carney St., but the total damage has left a $20,000 price tag.

Around 4:30 a.m., firefighters from three different halls responded to a shed fire in the hospital district, finding a backyard shed fully engulfed.

The flames had also been extended to a neighbouring fence and another nearby shed, but crews were able to extinguish the fire to prevent any other potential damage.

RCMP has taken over the investigation and there were also no injuries to fire personnel.
