Prince George’s Standing Committee on Public Safety got its first chance to meet a new department head at its Tuesday, Aug. 19 meeting.

Former Prince George RCMP officer Kent MacNeill was introduced as the city’s new manager of bylaw services.

Director of administrative services Eric Depenau said that MacNeill has been on the job for about a month.

The Citizen reported back in January that previous bylaw manager Charlotte Peters had been terminated for undisclosed reasons.
