Lheidli T'enneh Chief Dominic Frederick took home $84,177 in remuneration during the most recent fiscal year, according to information posted this week on the Aboriginal and Northern Development Canada website.

That's up from $78,437 for the previous fiscal year, when First Nations were first required to post the figures online.

Frederick also put in for $9,081 in expenses, compared to $8,772 the year before.

Coun. Louella Nome was paid $81,256 and accounted for $8,159 in expenses for the most recent fiscal year, which ended on March 31, both up from $74,778 and $7,511 respectively for 2013-14.

Clarence John and Jennifer Pighin each earned $18,000 as councillors. John's expenses were $1,638 and Pighin's were $575. John also took home $18,000 in remuneration over 2013-14 while Pighin's was $18,728. Their expenses were zero and $1,485 respectively for 2013-14.

The band missed the federal government's Sept. 2 deadline for submitting both a schedule of remuneration and consolidated financial statement.

At the time, Lheidli T'enneh executive director Jason Morgan said that was due to a change in auditors and a vacancy in its finance department but added it had "every intention" of providing the information.

The items were posted on the AANDC website, and the Lheidli T'enneh's own website this week, following its annual general meeting over the weekend.

The band has a total registered population of 421 people, according to the AANDC, of which 116 live on reserve.
