Police are on the lookout for a man suspected of robbing a Spruceland Mall jewelry store earlier this week.

The suspect, whose image was caught on the store's video camera, is described as an aboriginal man, 20 to 25 years old, with a diamond-shaped tattoo on the back of his neck.

He was wearing a white T-shirt with a hockey team design, a white baseball cap with a black and gold oval sticker on the top of the brim, black shorts, white socks with 'flip flop' style shoes and carrying a black backpack.

He allegedly ran off with merchandise from Jewellery Direct on Tuesday at about 5 p.m.
