Two months into 2014, starts on new single-family homes remained on the same pace as last year, Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation numbers are showing.
As of the end of February, there were 14 starts on that form of housing, one more than by the same point in 2013. There have been no starts on units of multiple-family so far this year, as was the case at the end of February 2013.
