A Vanderhoof couple emerged the winners of a brand new pickup truck when a draw was held Saturday to celebrate Northland Dodge Health Children Fund reaching its million-dollar milestone.
Dealership owner Brent Marshall presented the keys to a 2010 Dodge Ram to Richard and Linda Aspinall, among the 10 finalists whose names were selected for the final draw from the many people who've purchased vehicles from Northland Dodge over the campaign's life.
For every car or truck sold, Marshall put $100 into the fund and along with proceeds from other events like an annual golf tournament, the goal of reaching $1 million within five years was met with about six months to spare.
