The City of Prince George has created special senior hours at its Service Centre at city hall.

The hours between 8:30 and 10 a.m. are reserved for seniors due to the ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

However, the city says no one will be turned away from wanting to do business in-person.

The Service Centre hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Friday.

If you want to avoid going in all together, you can pay by mail, through online and telephone banking or by credit card using the PayTM Canada Mobile App.

City Hall has also introduced advanced cleaning measures, disinfectant and signage as well as event tape at service desks to help facilitate physical distancing.

The city also has a dedicated COVID-19 webpage where you can find out more about the city’s COVID-19  measures.
