After a watermain leak in Western Acres, the city will shut of water starting 8 a.m. Tuesday morning.
It is reminding residents to store up water in case of emergency, though it expects service to be restored by 2 p.m.
"Crews will be monitoring the leak throughout the night, and if it worsens, the water may have to be shut down sooner and without notice," said communications officer Michael Kellett, in a statement.
"The city advises residents in the affected areas to ensure they have sufficient water by filling up water containers in case of an emergency outage."
The leak in the water infastructure affected Beaverly Elementary.
