Prince George Citizen reporter Christine Hinzmann has been named a finalist for a B.C. and Yukon Community Newspapers Association Ma Murray award.
Hinzmann is a finalist in the arts and culture category for her story "Behind the curtains," a feature on the work that goes on at CN Centre to attract and put on major concerts.
The two other nominees in the category are Justin Bedall of Outlook West Vancouver and Natalie
North of Saanich News.
The winner will be announced on April 20 at an awards banquet in Richmond.
The BCYCNA is a non-profit membership organization representing community newspapers throughout British Columbia and the Yukon.
