Meat Loaf to play at CN Centre

Meat Loaf will entertain Prince George this summer with special guest, Lisa Bouchelle. The legendary rocker will perform at the CN Centre Wednesday, Aug. 4 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets go on sale at all Ticketmaster outlets this Friday at 10 a.m.

Scotch tasting at North 54

There will be a Scotch tasting event hosted at North 54, 1493 Third Avenue on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. The piper will be Ian MacInnis and entertainment will be provided by Kyra Sinclair. Tickets are $45 at North 54.

Ingrid Gatin will make her Prince George debut at ArtSpace Saturday night at 8. This Winnipeg-based singer is influenced by the music of Joni Mitchell, Patrick Watson, Fiona Apple and Lauryn Hill. J. D. Edwards will provide vocals and trombone.

A Short Evening of Theatre will be presented by Smithers secondary school drama club Sunday 8 p.m. at ArtSpace, above Books & Co., 1685 Third Avenue.

Two Rivers has student exhibit

The Two Rivers Gallery presents the Young Associates Art Exhibition called Portraits with the free grand opening tonight at 7:30 p.m. The exhibit runs until May 30. The show features works from more than 120 senior students in School District 57.

Central Interior Zone Theatre hosted by Serious Moonlight Productions will be held at the College of New Caledonia Friday and Saturday in Room 1-306. Plays include Love Letters by A.R. Gurney Friday at 7:30 p.m.

Concert for Lost Cause 34

Lost Cause 34 will be in concert on Friday at Knox United Church basement, 1448 Fifth Avenue. Doors open at 7 p.m. The screamo/ Lord of the Rings band Tree Beard's Revenge will open as well as an acoustic set by Cam Phillips.
