A Walk in the Woods during National Forestry Week is offered through the Willow River Interpretive Trail Saturday for all age groups and it’s family-friendly, too.
The Cariboo Section of the Canadian Institute of Forestry is sponsoring the event and offers a guided tour by professional foresters who will take groups on the two kilometre walk that features 20 interpretive posts where discussions will take place around the environment, including the wildlife and the trees that exist in the forest.
