Vehicle of interest in pedestrian fatal located but driver remains unknown

RCMP have located this truck, linked to the death of a pedestrian at First Avenue and Quebec Street on Tues., Nov. 2.

A pickup truck linked to the death of a pedestrian last week has been located but the identity of the driver remains unknown, Prince George RCMP said Tuesday.

RCMP are asking anyone who has information on who may have been behind the wheel at the time to contact the detachment at 250-561-3300 and to quote file number 2021-43152.

Sixty-three-year-old Danial William Warner was struck and killed at about midday Tues., Nov. 2 near the corner of First Avenue and Quebec Street. 

RCMP later sent out a bulletin saying they were looking for a white Ford 150 pickup truck along with a photo of the vehicle from a nearby security camera.

On Thurs., Nov. 4, another pedestrian was killed in the vicinity of Highway 97 North and Northwood Pulp Mill Road.

The driver of the vehicle involved in that inicident remained at the scene and has cooperated with police, RCMP have said.
