A Hiro is coming to Prince George.
Hiro Kanagawa, actor and playwright, will be the special guest of Theatre North West on Saturday for a free public appearance.
Kanagawa is the writer of the current TNW play The Patron Saint of Stanley Park. Television fans will also know him as Principal Kwan from the popular Superman series Smallville. His credits list is long and sustained as an actor, and his writing is also burgeoning, with two new titles - Indian Arm and The Actual Bone - are now emerging into the Canadian theatre industry.
At the public event this weekend, Kanagawa will be reading excerpts from his plays and discussing the creative process. The general public is invited to attend, free of charge, in the front lobby of TNW at 4 p.m.
