Kamstra, Young win team judo silver at Canada Winter Games

The two Hart Judo Academy members helped their respective B.C. female and male teams win silver medals, coming on the heels of their silver-medal performances earlier in the week in the individual tournaments.
In the women's team competition, B.C. defeated Quebec in the semifinal round, then lost to Alberta in the battle for gold. The B.C. men's team eliminated Alberta in the semifinals and lost to Quebec in the gold-medal round.
The women's team also included Brae Booth of Creston, Klavdia Danikov of Vancouver, Isabella Greene of Nanaimo, Isabel Harris of Mission, Caleigh Kuramoto of Richmond and Dakota Webb of Victoria.
Joining Young on the B.C. men's team were Korin Gardner of Nanaimo, Payton Harris of Abbotsford, Anthony Henry of Campbell River, Maximus Joe of Burnaby, Ian Ryder of Steveston, and Finn Schroeder of Whistler.
Kamstra, 18, captured silver in the women's 44-kilogram class on Tuesday, while the 16-year-old Young took silver in the men's 73 kg event on Wednesday.
