Barracuda Swim Club hosts fall invitational

The Prince George Barracuda Swim Club hosted the 2019 CBIG Fall Invitational swim meet this past weekend at Prince George Aquatic Centre.

The Prince George Barracuda Swim Club hosted the 2019 CBIG Fall Invitational swim meet this past weekend at Prince George Aquatic Centre.

There were 197 youth swimmers ranging from ages 6 to 19 years old competing in the two-day event with athletes coming from as far north at Prince Rupert, and as far south as Kamloops.

Swimmers competed in a number of disciplines including butterfly, breast, back, individual medley, freestyle, and freestyle medley relay. Distances ranged from 50m to 400m depending on the age of the swimmer.
