Highway 97 south of Prince George was closed Saturday, June 21 after a fire broke out at the East Fraser Fibre mill in Quesnel.
The fire broke out shortly before 10 p.m.
Detours were in effect near Finning Road as Quesnel Volunteer Fire Department crews worked to extinguish the flames.
The highway reopened early Sunday morning.
Quesnel is located an hour south of Prince George.
