It’s disappointing to see BC Hydro cut a tree in half right at the city’s entrance. It really impacts the area’s welcoming feel. I hope the City will continue to plant more trees and illuminate them! Looked beautiful and added a nice feel.

I couldn’t agree more! We want small businesses to thrive, yet we continue to locate shelters and services nearby. Those responsible for operating these shelters should be required to pay for community safety officer that works in the area to help keep the entire area safe and welcoming for everyone.

It’s disappointing to see a once-accessible green space turned into yet another parking lot. The regional district should be required to establish a new park within the city to compensate for the loss.

Love this! Live music and skating would be great! Hope lots of local bands get to play this venue.

Awesome job! Thanks for making Prince George more enjoyable for locals! This also makes it more attractive for visitors. That’s sustainable tourism — building a city for residents first, especially when fires and shifting travel trends make tourism unpredictable.

Great to see the development move forward. We need housing. But why oppose a convenience store or commercial space? It would reduce the need for nearby residents to drive everywhere. A city that forces people into cars is built for cars, not for people. Not healthy or desirable.

We need to install speed restrictors on all vehicles. PG drivers can't be taught and are only getting worse and more careless.

I hope they plan a concert featuring all local bands to celebrate. It would be amazing to see a night of local music at Prince George’s biggest venue—especially one that usually hosts touring acts.

Fantastic! I also hope we’ll see the Centennial Trail rehabilitated into a multi-use path that connects neighbourhoods and parks. Prince George is such a great city for walking and biking, with its beautiful greenery and forested areas.
Paths like this bring people together. They give us the chance to meet our neighbours, enjoy the outdoors, and stay connected to local shops, cafés, and restaurants.

When one town declines to build supportive housing, neighboring communities often end up shouldering the burden.
