When I was on Council, decades ago, we had a committee to IMPROVE snow clearing. One of our tasks was to send out a survey to see how much people were willing to pay in extra taxes to have their driveways NOT clogged by the passing graders. People were willing to pay a lot! I'd want to know how people in residential area feel about this move.

Citizens should have the right to know how their representatives feel about these issues. I might care whether one of them votes yes or no to funding for my favourite cultural organization.

What does 'leftist' have to do with this issue? Some people see a Commie under every tree.

If the comments and the thumbs up are any indication, there aren't many empathic people in PG. Sad!

Both of my children were fortunate to have this entertaining French teacher at Duchess Park a few decades ago. He and Anne were lovely people whom I considered to be my friends. He will be missed.

It has been far too long for PG to get a proper Performing Arts Centre. Can no-one on Council see the benefits to the city in having such a facility? Isn't it time the citizens got behind such a project?

He sure looks like his dad.

It's too bad Rustad didn't allow more United MLAs into the campaign rather than accepting an alarming number of kooks to run. It's going to make for a pretty inept and laughable opposition. ( assuming the NDP will form government ). I'm happy to say that the foul mouthed kook in my riding lost to the NDP. First time the NDP has won in my riding ever. If Rustad had chosen a decent candidate here, it might well have given him another seat

I'm quite certain that when Falcon and Rustad were deciding which candidates to let go, Shirley would have survived the cut. Too bad she didn't hang around. Enjoy your retirement Shirley....it will probably take some getting used to.
