Don't forget to plan for a lift to shuttle day skiers from the Nita Lake Hyperloop station to the Creekside gondola.

I bought into my 1st Whistler property many decades ago with the understanding that there was a building cap. X amount of bed units limiting the number of recreational users enjoying our valley and looking after our waste. Wedgewood, a new subdivision that looks to me as one of the largest in Sea to Sky insults my sense of right and wrong. It has zero employee accommodation, and adds to our lift lines, tee times, trail use, etc. It popped up out of nowhere., barely outside our municipal boundary yet appears to piggyback on our essential services. Where will the next surprise high-density for-profit development that taxes our infrastructure pop up?

I would like to see changes made in our municipal elections.
The Mayors seat should be filled by an experienced past councilor.
We the public then face the loss of a good person in office as the best vie for the top seat.
My suggestion is that the public only vote for councilors.
After which the elected council votes among themselves every 2 years for their mayor.

Wedgewood added 126 new lots!
New housing increases the number of people crammed onto Whistler Blackcombs' already dangerously overloaded skier bottlenecks.
More traffic, biking, golfing, etc.
More policing and fire fighting expenses.
Now we run sewer effluent both ways.
Where will our elected representatives allow the next subdivision to be built to pad their coffers?

Quote fake news! "DFO's own scientists, having reviewed the science on disease transfer from farmed to wild salmon, determined that salmon farms in fact posed no more than minimal risk to wild salmon." Actually, DFO's top scientist Dr. Kristi Millar was put on a gag order by Harper when her research proved that these farms posed huge risks to wild salmon. Thank Trudeau to do the right thing and not sell out to very skilled and powerful high-paid Norwegian Salmon Farm lobbyists.

I would like to see my taxes include Whistler Musicians to qualify for this Covid relief grant.
